We just returned from a 7 day stay on Park Plaza Lodge and I couldn’t recommend it enough! When searching for acommodations in LA we had a bit of a tough time with finding a hotel that didn’t have a overwhelming overload of negative reviews. Park Plaza Lodge had little to no negative reviews and had incredibly met our expectations. The location is perfect, since it is a short walk - 15 min approx - from The Grove/Farmer’s Market. Being so close to those two landmarks facilited our stay, since we had a bunch of options of places to eat - specially for breakfast! It also is just a short walk from a Trader Joe’s and a 7-Eleven. The region felt very safe and busy, we sometimes got home from the Grove after 10pm-12pm and had no problems walking around there even in these late hours. We could get around easily from there to all the landmarks we explored - everyone says that you can be in LA without a car, but we could easily transit from the hotel to most places with visited by only catching 1 bus (Hollywood, Melrose Trading Post, Downtown LA). For farthest locations - Santa Monica, Venice, Burbank and Griffith Park - it required more than one bus (or 2 buses + metro, specifically for Griffith and Burbank), but either way we got around very easily from the hotel. The bus stop we used for most of these places was next to Farmer’s Market, but there is a bus stop in the hotel block as well. The staff is pleasant and helpful - they helped us with phone charger adapters, since the standard from our country is different from the US, and they were able to lend us two adapters. The room is rather big as well as the bathroom, which makes it really comfortable to store bags and take up all the space needed. It also has really big windows which makes the room bright and charming! Would definitely recommend staying at the Park Plaza Lodge and when in LA, I would definitely stay there again.

The location was excellent. Coffee Bean over the road and the Grove and restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Pretty much midway between most tourist attractions. The staff were all very friendly, and helpful. We were able to store our bags on the day we arrived and after we checked out. When I requested an electric jug and iron, both were provided without it being a problem. We also had a couple of parcels delivered to the hotel before we arrived and they were given to us when we checked in. Would happily stay here again.

The location was outstanding. Breakfast/lunch restaurant next door. Nice Thai restaurant next door to that. LA County Art Museum, La Brea Tar Pits and the Academy Awards Museum all within a mile, very easy walk. the Grove upscale mall and The Farmers Market, with many restaurants, are 3 blocks away. A 7/11 is a block away. Had tile floor vs. carpet. Nice in this weather. Very small pool but would feel great in hot weather. This is not a fancy hotel but clean and safe. I would definitely return.

Great location for exploring central/north LA. 7Eleven was one block away. Room was good size. Average shower. Staff were friendly, and helped dig out some chopsticks for us to use to eat instant ramen we had bought. The parking round the back was great, we had hired a huge car and luckily had a "premium" space that was always available while staying, but there were other spaces that would have been tighter

Matt greeted me and was so helpful with suggestions and information. I loved the location. It was close to The Grove and close to CBS studios, just a short Uber drive, which was great for going to see Dancing with the Stars. The Cafe next door Attitude was super cute and had decent food and great service. The room was clean, and I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
